Meet Your Guide / Green River Drifters

All our guides bring experience, versatility, and teaching skills with all techniques of fly fishing as well as conventional gear.

All guides with Green River Drifters will have-

-Required First Aid and CPR training
-License by the State of Utah (State Parks)
-Annual boat inspection with Ashley National Forest
-Business License with Daggett County
-Member of Green River Outfitter Guide Association (GROGA)

Lead guide, owner/manager is Patrick Krause
Experience includes

-Guide on the Green River in the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area since 1990

-Instructor Outdoor Emergency Care (teaching professional responders, ski patrollers, backcountry rescuers)

-Instructor CPR/AHA Unified Fire Authority (teaching professionals)

Hello everyone! I love being on the river with each of you.  Over the years, I have guided for all the guide services in the area (really, all of them).  Also, I have guided on other rivers in Colorado, Wyoming and Utah.  We may have fished together before!
With this experience, and passion for fishing that goes back to family business on the great lakes, Green River Drifters is a great choice!  Our guides have created long term relationships with the people who fish with us.  Expert to beginner anglers alike have returned year after year because of the professionalism, passion, fun, and friendship we bring to every trip.
